Last time I bought a batch of controllers/parts to work with, more than half of them arrived in a state that I do not feel good about selling to people at full price. I would like to recoup some of these costs as it is almost time to order another batch, and unfortunately prices have gone up in the market (which means my own prices may increase as well... :( -- BUT this may mean good news for you, because if you aren't too particular about the physical/aesthetic state of the controller and you just want an original piece that works, you can order one of these for much less than my standard build fee, and still have some assurance that they have been verified as being in a working state by me. Also, you get extra replacement parts!! This is probably the best deal for controllers I will ever be able to offer, so if you're interested act fast!

Once again stating -- these controllers are being sold as-is, in otherwords they have not been tuned or extensively tested by me. That being said, I did take the time to clean all of the plastic parts with an ultrasonic cleaner (PCBs may or may not have been cleaned), and have personally ensured that each one is functional. All this means is that I plugged it into a console and verified each button is registering.

Please see the photos in the listing for some examples of the cosmetic/wear and tear damage on these controllers to make sure you are comfortable with the type of controller you may be receiving! I will not be accepting returns or refunds for these.

Each controller will come with 2 sets of extra TopGear Japan parts, in addition to being built/sold with 1 set of OEM parts inside the controller.

Each controller comes with the following minimum:

• Controller Shell with working (not stripped) screws and screw shafts (usually Super Famicom variant logo)
• SFC/PAL Colored Face Buttons (all convex, no concave)
• SNES Controller PCB with potentially some cosmetic damage (controllers have all been tested and verified as registering each button press)
• SFC (Shorter) Cable Length
• 1 set of OEM Rubber/Membrane Pieces inside the controller (cannot guarantee durability of these, as they are typically 30+ years old)
• 2 Sets of replacement Rubber/Membrane pieces (TopGear Japan brand is being used with these)

The price reflected is indicative of the cost of parts (specified above) and a small fee for the personal time spent cleaning and verifying functionality of the controllers.

An average used SNES Controller will typically cost anywhere from $20-40 + shipping (if applicable), and most of the time has not been properly cleaned or tested. Buying these from me you at least know it has been properly cleaned and verified as working to some degree, plus you get some extra replacement parts that I will personally vouch for (I have been using TopGear Japan dpads for 4-5 years in all of my runs now)

Controllers will be shipped via USPS unless otherwise specified -- shipping within the United States is typically $11, Fourthwall sometimes calculates this correctly and sometimes does not -- Please contact me via Discord for other shipping accommodations (including shipping outside of the United States. My merch vendor does not calculate shipping prices correctly outside of the US at this time unfortunately.
